Art on the Concourse 2023 | Art Night Film Program

For Art on the Concourse 2023, we put together a short film program for attendees. Created by our community, the videos document a selection of our arts and educational programs, exhibitions and artist collaborations. Follow the links below to catch the movies online.


Serviam & West Farms Senior Artists (4 min 45 secs), 2023 - video directed by Jadie Meprivert, Fordham Bedford Community Services. Hear about the therapeutic qualities of working in clay, “finding a family” in this program and trying something new with love, patience and a sense of humor.


Concourse House Mother Artist Apprentice Program (1 min 30), 2022 - video directed by students Richard Howard and Heather Sandler, Manhattan College, Film Department. Amanda Jewell, Yafatou Sarr and Jess Rolls share their experiences of the Mother-Artist Apprenticeship program.


C.G.Esperanza (ft. Eian), Boogie Boogie, Y'all (3 mins), 2022 - Official music video directed by Alex Nuñez Caba. Based on the book Boogie Boogie, Y'all by C.G.Esperanza published by Katherine Tegen books an Imprint of Harper Collins Publishing. Another book to add to your reading list by our artist-resident C. G Esperanza!


Serviam Crochet Mural Installation (43 secs), 2021 - Directed by Caitlin Reilly & Concourse House Mothers Art Crew using stop-motion camera. Check out a behind-the-scenes view of our neighborhood crochet mural installations.


Kicks in the Sky (1 min 5), 2020 - Directed by Adiana Rivera. Featuring Kicks in the Sky, our neighborhood public art installation created by C.G. Esperanza and Fordham Bedford Community Services After-School children in the pandemic. In 2023, this project continues to evolve, with sneaker collabs on the wires, and a new picture book by C.G. Esperanza, Kicks in the Sky (2023).
