Community Services - Design Partner

Design Advocates is a non-profit, volunteer-based community based organization that is dedicated to enhancing equity in the built environment through pro-bono design services. We aim to create inclusive and participatory community engagement processes and visioning for institutions, municipalities, and non-profits, develop design strategies for organizations who serve communities and the public good, and advocate for more equitable and inclusive practices in the design industries. Since 2020, we've been collaborating with Concourse House families and staff to reimagine and co-create outdoor pavilions that support existing arts and education programs while also providing spaces for wellness and care for the community.
